Garance Dore and Marc O’Polo – Let’s Get Lost!
Dear Frenchonista’s,
Dear Frenchonista’s,
Dear Frenchonista’s,
Dear Frenchonista’s,
Fashionchick has delivered another great summer shoe collection called “BoHo Chic” and it’s available in the Sacha stores as well as online. Kim Feenstra received the first pair of heels and Samia of course loves the flats even more. The collection gives us, apart from the great flats (very now!), aztec print, fringes, minty pastel and chunky heels. They are perfect not only for your 9 to 5 look but they go straight with you to after work drinks, parties and festivals!
Did I mention they’re under a 100 euro’s? Yeah!

I hate eyeshadow. Well…I love it but I’m bad at applying it and it just never seems to look right on me. Now I discovered the GOSH eyeshadow sticks (for just 9,79 euro at Kruidvat!) and I’m hooked. It’s easy to apply and to blend and really does the trick. No parabens and water resistant.
What’s not to love??

Dear Frenchonista’s,
If you suffer from dry hair, whether it be winter or summer, Aveda’s lab has discovered a fruit in the rain forests of Brazil. It comes from the Moriche palm, or rather “the tree of life” and it brings softness, hydration and a velvety softness. It also doesn’t weigh down the hair, although it’s oil. It can be used after washing before styling or, if you really suffer from a bad case of dry hair, also to be used as leave in treatment after styling.
And while you’re shopping at Aveda (which is always a joy for the senses), also try the new stress-fix body creme with beautiful herbs from small biological farms in France!

Dear Frenchonista’s,
On the Dutch webshop http://www.freshonline.nl/ we’ve seen a really great collection of things for your home. The style is very “beach house” and so it is great for both your house and garden (or city roof terrace) this summer. They have gorgeous plaids (warm for winter or a chilly summer evening after a day at the beach), cushions, towels for your bathroom and for the beach, and duvet covers (also for kids!). On their site you’ll see they also sell some clothing and accessories (basics for adults and kids), so if you want to go all out, you can just “one stop shop”
Enjoy!

Dear frenchonista’s,
As you know Samia recently did the interior design for a restaurant, not to mention her own house, so she’s always looking for new inspiration. We love the colors of Farrow&Ball paints and wallpapers so we thought we’d share them with you, too. British Farrow&Ball still produces paint the old way (and uses their paint on their wall paper as well) so you will be sure that you get an intensity of color that you rarely see anymore, and certainly not in the department stores where everyone buys their paint.
The wall papers are exquisitely detailed and very chic and you can definitely see all the craftsmanship that goes into making them.
Take a look at some of their new wall papers and get inspired.
Also, go to http://eu.farrow-ball.com to select a store, view more colors or buy online.

Dear Frenchonista’s.
It’ll be good weather next weekend, people, we are waiting for this rain to pass, so why not organize a “Second Welcoming To Spring” party and make sure to prepare a nice pitcher of Cointreau Fizz!
Need we remind you how to Cointreau Fizz? No problem:
-50 ml of Cointreau
-Juice of 1/2 fresh lime
-Sparkling water
Of course there are lots of ways to vary…with mint, cucumber, basil, raspberries…hmmm…why not a bit of fresh chilly (not for the faint hearted, only for you spicy Frenchonista’s out there!)
Anyway, we LOVE Cointreau and we always have them present at our events, like recently at our glammy VIP photo shoot. Good drinks make pictures better. Actually, they make everything better!

Dear Frenchonista’s,
Endemol and Fashioncheque in the Netherlands have now launched a great giftcard concept called “All You Need Is Love” like The Beatles song and, for the Dutchies, the famous television show with the same name, that’s all about surprising your loved ones. This gift card is wrapped in a beautiful box and the recipient can go to www.allyouneedislove-giftbox.nl to choose their present or dream wish (spa, weekends away, nice lunch, champagne, flowers, ecc ecc).
