Zazzy has added another brilliant product to their already great concept of 3D jewelry design your own unique look!

Besides designing your own bracelets with a word or name (and emoticons!) of your choice (I had one made with my son’s name and love it!) and the origami and honeycomb pendants, Zazzy now also has necklaces you can design yourself. The idea is to put your favorite lyrics or quotes (or, in my case, nerdy literature reference that I love the thought of) on a necklace. Once again Zazzy makes sure you’re guaranteed to be the only one in the world to wear your bracelet or necklace.

We Frenchonista’s, always striving to be unique, absolutely love it and we can’t wait what’s next (rings, Zazzy??).

We wrote about Yehwang before, as you might remember. Samia and I own some of their jewelry and we’re getting compliments wherever we go, because they have such original designs. Consumers can’t buy directly on their website because they sell to shops only but make sure to look out for them when you go jewelry shopping in your favorite boutiques. Gwen and Suzanne from new PR agency Image PR have introduced us to a beautiful new jewelry brand that we couldn’t wait to introduce to you. IVY & LIV makes subtle but strong jewelry that fit women who on one hand like to celebrate their femininity and on the other aren’t afraid to show their strength. And that’s just what we Frenchonista’s are all about!

IVY & LIV are the alter egos of Isabella and Fleur, whose characters and creative inspiration have blended into pure designs that we love. Their new collection is called Fireflies who, as you all know, have the wondrous ability to create light from within themselves. It will be presented in May, in a secret location in Amsterdam, and we got some previews for you!

Good to know: IVY & LIV use precious metals only. The pieces are small but they are…THERE! We’re talking statement pieces that make you feel precious and ready to travel around the world, like fierce fairies!

As you know the biggest new thing is 3D printing. Zazzy, a new Dutch start-up allows you to design your own jewelry by selecting words or symbols of your choice on beautiful precious and semi-precious metals like gold-plated brass, bronze and stainless steel. You do the chic, they do the geek, in the words of talented Niamh O’Dea, the creative director at Zazzy.

Their collection includes Wordplay (create bracelets with the word of your choice – Grazia’s Hilmar Mulder was seen with one of these), Origami (experiment with linear shapes and forms to create your own one of a kind pendant) and Honeycomb (create endless patterns by repeating a hexagon) and finally Pic ‘n Mix (create the ultimate friendship bracelet using a choice of emoticons, symbols and letters)!
