SodaStream Caps – Make It Yourself soda in many flavors! Who knew??

Dear Frenchonista’s,

Who says we only have caps for coffee?At our clutch one day this month we had the pleasure to introduce SodaStream caps and the simple machine that allows you to make your own soda (so: with bubbles!) out of natural water. The caps are available in many flavors (forty!!), from regular flavors such as cola and ginger ale, to fruity ones like grapefruit and pineapple. One cute little cap makes one liter of great tasting soda in the simple SodaStream machine that also looks nice on your kitchen counter!

Cointreau – Fizz on!

Dear Frenchonista’s.

It’ll be good weather next weekend, people, we are waiting for this rain to pass, so why not organize a “Second Welcoming To Spring” party and make sure to prepare a nice pitcher of Cointreau Fizz!

Need we remind you how to Cointreau Fizz? No problem:

-50 ml of Cointreau
-Juice of 1/2 fresh lime
-Sparkling water

Of course there are lots of ways to vary…with mint, cucumber, basil, raspberries…hmmm…why not a bit of fresh chilly (not for the faint hearted, only for you spicy Frenchonista’s out there!)

Anyway, we LOVE Cointreau and we always have them present at our events, like recently at our glammy VIP photo shoot. Good drinks make pictures better. Actually, they make everything better!

Frenchonista at Art’Otel and 5&33!! VIP Glamour Photo Shoot!!!!

Dear Frenchonista’s,

It will not have escaped our faithful followers that we had an AMAZING VIP photo shoot of the new Frenchonista Clutch Collection at the beautiful Art’Otel in Amsterdam. As you know we’ve been fans since the hotel and the restaurant opened, we have had fabulous dinners there and we have drunk one too many cocktail in their chic and inspiring bar on more than one occasion!

So…we were extremely happy when Art’Otel and 5&33 allowed us to have our photo shoot in one of their suites end last month. Most of Frenchonista’s *famous* angels were there and they were gorgeous as ever.
5&33 provided breakfast in the suite so we were catered for beautifully.

Our model line-up was (tadaaaaa!): Miryanna van Reeden, Ovo Drenth, Beertje van Beers, Coosje Smid, Ginette Tellier, Rianne Swierstra, Bianca Portis, Hoda Hamdaoui and Nodar Ramsis. What a team!!

The glamorous and sensual dresses were by designer Leon Klassen Bos (so honored!), we had manicures from Red Carpet manicure, make-up by Lavertu, and we had a great goodiebag!
Thanks to Art’otel, Maison PR, Mooi PR, Unlimited PR, So PR, Lavertu cosmetics, Ladyshape, Enchantra, Cointreau, Smart and Sexy, Melli Mello, Simply PR, Manjewell, Uzurii, Ziana La Roussa, Gelaze, Milachocolata and Asia Paruch and her Spray Tan!

All in all it was a day – as all days at the Art’Otel and 5&33, really – to never forget. Check out what we’re talking about in the pictures here below!

FUSE Press Day! Frenchonista’s Paradise

One of the perks of being Samia’s Intern is that you get a gleam of her fabulous life. Just let me tell you: it is absolutely fabulous.

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to experience fashion in first hand attending one of the most exciting and fashionable days of the year: FUSE PR Press Day!

The team at FUSE PR (Frenchonista’s PR Bureau) presented the new collections for fall/winter 2014/2015. As you’ll imagine, there was a lot of black, spark, some red tartan and of course, fabulousness! The fun team from FUSE PR offered juicy drinks and delicious meal treats throughout the day, what made everyone enjoy even more the new collections in a juicy mood.

They even had a photo booth to enhance Ray Ban fun!

I could experience all the trends for fall season so we can all welcome fall season in the best possible way, looking our best. Certainly, it’s a little too soon to start worrying about coats. Still, it’s never too soon to make your wish lists!

Personally , I was very impressed with Repeat Cashmere. They offer a wonderful and exquisite combination of soft pastel colors and wonderful cashmere that makes you wish it was fall again. Also, the glittery from the very long night dresses presented yesterday was one of a kind.

Then, what better than shoes to light up any winter look? Thankfully, I got to see the new Steve Madden collection! I could spend the day just staring at them! As for the accessories, I stick to the one and only: Frenchonista!

Samia’s Birthday Party AND the opening of The Arabic Lounge!!

Dear Frenchonista’s,

Last Friday we had the best party ever!!

The sun was shining, the champagne was flowing, the oysters were to die for and everyone felt – and looked – amazing!

And where was this, you may ask??

It was the much expected opening of the Arabic Lounge, combined with the birthday party of Frenchonista’s Samia, who did the interior design of the place, and very well at that! The restaurant will open for guests this week and we got to inaugurate it with great bites, gorgeous girls wearing trays of drinks and cupcakes, great belly dancing (not by us – but we danced afterwards!), and, last but not least, the best people!

The Arabic Lounge is on Frederik Hendrikkade 194, on the “city side” of Nemo, so it’s really easy to reach. The entrance is shared with Noah’s Ark, just look for the beautifully decorated Lounge on the left when you come in.The restaurant will feed you delicious 1001 Arabian Night-like food, so check it out, and….uhm……if Samia ever decides to throw a party again, please make sure to be there!!!

Press Days Amsterdam: Fuse Communication now officially represents Frenchonista!!!

Dear Frenchonista’s,

2 weeks ago, it was Press Days in Amsterdam and we had a blast! All PR agencies present themselves and their brands. FUSE Communication presented their new clients and, guess what? Frenchonista is one of them!! Other brands that Fuse Communications (www.fuse-communication.com and they have a showroom where you can take a look at the collections ) represents are: Zalando, Repeat, Jutka & Riska, Ray-ban, Persol etc…

We are really proud to be part of the Fuse family!
