All my life I’ve breathed, lived and dreamed Fashion. Lucky enough I was born in France were fashion is all around you. You can say I inhaled it with every breath of air, every movement of an effortlessly tied scarf. Add to that my Moroccan heritage, where the leather is gorgeous and the colors of the culture are vibrant, and the city I live in, Amsterdam, which is a cultural melting pot and home to both established and upcoming designers in fashion and architecture, I can truly say I’ve been blessed with a perfect mix providing me with loads of inspiration for my designs.

When I started fashion blogging I had been planning the birth of the Frenchonista accessories line in my head a thousand times and when it finally happened, I was over the moon. The start of Frenchonista as a brand hasn’t stopped me from blogging about fashion as a whole. Frenchonista is my baby and anything Fashion is my first love.

My blog posts are about new must-have items, both in fashion and beauty, but also about more established staples to add to your wardrobe or lifestyle (and about Frenchonista, of course!). My name is Samia Taika. I was born in Normandy, France and live in Amsterdam, in De Pijp. I’m the designer of the Frenchonista accessory line that today has 2 shoppers, 15 clutches and 1 multifunctional leather dresses. Our clutches are designed in Europe, handmade in Morocco and possess the understated elegance that makes them appropriate as a finishing touch for any look you want to create. On my side I have some amazing women such as actress Carolien Spoor and writer Beertje van Beers, that have chosen to wear my clutches at red carpet events and other public occasions.
